These are the questions we get asked a lot, so we thought we’d put them together here for your convenience.

Why should I buy from Cairns BBQ Company?

We are a family-owned and operated business providing a one-stop shop for all your BBQ needs, with helpful advice and service.

We stock a huge range of rubs and sauces, smokers, smoking timber chunks, charcoal, BBQ accessories and even quality meat.

Where do you source your smoking timber chunks?

We stock a range of both Australian and imported timber smoking chunks.

Only Hickory and Mesquite chunks are imported.

All of our Australian timber smoking chunks are naturally dried (not kiln dried like imported timbers) to help retain natural oils, which in turn makes the Aussie smoking timber we stock, a superior product when compared to imported timbers.

Should I soak wood chips or chunks before using them in my smoker?

We recommend you use your wood chips, dust and chunks dry and do not soak them prior to use.

Where do you get your meat from?

We stock a large selection of quality meat cuts from full Briskets to Pork Collars to individual rib fillets.

All quality meat is provided to Cairns BBQ Company by Edge Hill Butchery.

What brands of smokers do you stock?

We stock fantastic brands like Big Green Egg, Green Mountain Grills, Hark, Bradley, Pro Q and Napoleon.

Do you stock Kettle Kones?

Yes we stock the amazing Kettle Kone in a variety of sizes. We can also offer advice for the best ways to use it.

Do you have Afterpay or Zip Pay?

Yes, we offer both Afterpay and Zip pay.

Can you deliver my new BBQ / Smoker?

Yes, we can deliver any of the BBQs we sell.

Charges may apply depending on the BBQ/smoker and your location.

Can you build and install my new BBQ / Smoker?

Yes, we can build and install any of the BBQs we sell.

Charges may apply depending on the BBQ/smoker and your location.

Where is the best place to store my BBQ dry rubs?

We recommend you store your BBQ dry rubs in the fridge to keep them fresh.

The fridge is a dry environment and this will help stop the rub clumping.
